Binks was one of 166 Beagles Anderson Humane rescued from Envigo - the 3rd largest Envigo rescue in the country. This breeding facility’s sole purpose was to sell beagles to labs for testing products. They had numerous animal welfare violations and were forced to shut down. Anderson Humane stepped in to help find homes for 166 out of nearly 4,000 beagles. We were fortunate to be able to foster and adopt Binks.
Every year, Anderson Humane rescues 4000+ domestic and 3000+ wild animals. But these rescues come with a big cost. When you support Walk4Animals & 5K you are also supporting:
- Under-resourced shelters in 13 other states.
- Seniors, homeless, veterans & victims of domestic violence served through STAR (Short Term Animal Refuge).
- Over 900 people served through Healing Paws animal therapy.
If you've benefited from the human-animal bond, please support my fundraising efforts by donating to Walk4Animals. It's what enables Anderson Humane to continue doing this life-saving work - for animals and people.
