As we race to finish breast cancer, we are fundraising for The DONNA Foundation. The DONNA Foundation provides hope, support and financial relief to those living with breast cancer.
Tiff's Hope Squad is running the marathon in memory of Tiffany. This year marks FIVE years since she died at the age of 34 from stage 4 BRCA positive Triple Negative Metaplastic Breast Carcinoma. We are running because we promised her we would continue to make an impact on cancer.
We are running to represent the nearly 12,150 women under the age of 40 that are diagnosed with breast cancer every year. Most importantly, we honor those 1,000 of them that will not survive each year. Women under 40 tend to face more aggressive cancers and have lower survival rates. How can this be?!? We need more for stage 4!
Together we hope to raise $1041 towards breast cancer, representing each day Tiffany battled breast cancer.
