Pedal the Cause

Family and Friends,

I am participating in my 16th annual Pedal The Cause bike challenge to fight against cancer. I ride for family and friends who have been battling cancer: Matt Budd, Donna Griffard, John Griffard, Aunt Hilda, Cheryl Cuddy, Bud Straumann, Anne Wood, Chuck Wood, Aleda Budd, Patti T, Tom Tulley and so, so many others. I also ride in memory of David Kraenzle, Janet Griffard, Jim Kreft, Dieter Ungerboeck, Emily K's son Tate, Mark Tulley, Scott Kleinman, Sue Davis(Nana), John Budd (Dad), Leo Griffard, Jerry Griffard and Uncle Charlie. 

My brother Matt, Aunt Hilda and Bud S. have received treatments at Siteman Cancer Centers and I hope your contributions help fund research that directly contributes to their treatments.  For those that are getting treatments around the United States, my hope is that the research funded here in St. Louis is collaborated around the world and becomes mainstream in all the cancer centers. There are more options for cancer treatments than ever before and this is due to research providers all over the world that utilize funds provided by organizations like Pedal the Cause. Please continue to help us fund treatments and new hope through innovative research programs.

I also wanted to thank you for all your past support over my 16 years of riding in this event!  So far, I have raised $20,000+ for cancer research so Thank You for generosity. Much of the funds from Pedal the cause are used as seed money to start research that can then be further funded by x10 fold.

I plan to ride a metric century (62 miles) on Sunday,  September 21th.  I have committed to raise $500+ for cancer research and 100% of your donation will go directly to this cause. Donations are accepted through the end of October.
