WHY ARE YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATING IN RELAY FOR LIFE?
On March 1, 2023, I faced a life-altering journey with a mastectomy, followed by five weeks of radiation beginning in June. It was a season of pain, uncertainty, and countless prayers. But through it all, God’s grace and strength lifted me up and carried me through. Today, I am not just surviving—I am thriving.
I walk in faith, inspired by His promises:
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.” – Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
“The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped.” – Psalm 28:7 (KJV)
“I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.” – Psalm 118:17 (KJV)
This Relay for Life, I walk to glorify God for His healing power, to honor those still fighting, to remember those we've lost, and to shine His light of hope for everyone on this journey. My testimony is proof that God is a healer, and with your support, we can offer hope, healing, and strength to others.
