Hi Friends,
This October I am going to do the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference annual Trail-A-Thon! I am hoping to hit the 104+ miles over two trips on the NY NJ TC trails honor of the Trail Conference's conception. Please donate if you can to help conserve our trails for the future.
On my first weekend Oct 2-6th I hiked 69.71 miles from Pawling, NY to the West end of Harriman State Park at Hwy 17.
Weekend two, Oct 16-20 I hit all 9 Shelters in Harriman State Park starting at the Tuxedo Train station to Suffern Train Station, 58 miles.
I will be day hiking Section one of the Long Path out and back too.
Help the New York-New Jersey Trail Conference preserve tomorrow's trail lands by taking part in our annual Trail-A-Thon!
For over a century, the Trail Conference has been dedicated to providing safe, enjoyable access to nature, and now, in 2024, our shared lands are constantly challenged by the expansion of urban sprawl, an ever-changing political climate, extreme weather events, and a growing list of harmful invasive species. With your help, we can make certain that your favorite routes into the wild are as accessible and inspiring as ever.
Please help support me in completing this month-long event and together we will directly contribute to the Trail Conference’s efforts!
