Elachee’s Trick or Trek Trail Run

Join us at Elachee Nature Science Center for a 5K walk/run and a 10K trail race in the Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve. Take on our challenging trails as you run in costume through the forest and perhaps win a prize for best costume. All proceeds benefit Elachee Nature Science Center, a non-profit 501 (c)(3) that provides quality environmental educational programming to children across metro Atlanta and preserves the beautiful, 1,400-acre Chicopee Woods Nature Preserve.

Race participants will receive one "Dri-Fit" race shirt per participant! No guarantee of T-Shirt with late or race day registration.

PACKET PICKUP
Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 1 p.m. Shuttles to starting area will cease at 1:45 p.m.

RACE DAY ENTRY FEES
5K: $30 10K: $40

RACE COURSE
This race is a challenging and serene off-road running experience through the forest with a series of hills and bridged stream crossings. Runners will start at the nature center parking lot and road (required for spacing), and will quickly find themselves immersed in the forest for the rest of the race. We will be providing water, Gatorade, and snacks for runners.

RACE CATEGORIES
Elachee will be handing out medals and prizes to the top three male and female finishers for each race. The top three male and female finishers from each race will also receive free registration for next year's Trillium Trek!

The top three male and female finishers from each age category (10 and under, 11-14, 15-18, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70+) as well as in the masters (40-50) and grandmaster (50+) categories. You must be present to receive your medal.

AWARDS
Awards will be given out when we have enough finishers in to fill the categories. Medals will be given out to the top three finishers in each male/female category.
