5th Annual Twin Cities Turkey Trot

Proceeds benefit the Benton Harbor Police Athletic League (PAL), with a mission to promote positive community relations and cooperation between the youth of our communities, their families, the Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety, and other law enforcement agencies.
FEES: 15 and Over: $20 through 10/27, $25 10/27 through Race Day
14 and under: $15 through Race Day

Looking for a fun, family-friendly event on Thanksgiving Day morning? The 5th Annual Twin Cities Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk event starts and finishes at the Dwight Pete Mitchell City Center Park in Benton Harbor, with refreshments, finisher medals and random door prizes after the race.
Thank you to the Benton Harbor Public Library for opening their lobby on Thanksgiving morning for same day registration and packet pickup! The Benton Harbor Public Library is located on the corner of Wall and 5th Streets, across from the Benton Harbor Police Department.
Same day registration and packet pickup opens at 7:30 am with registration closing at 8:45 am. City Center Park is located just a block from the library. The 5K Run/ Walk begins at 9:00 am, heading south and west from the park to Riverview Drive.
This is a chip timed event. Overall male and female finishers in the run will receive individual awards. Finisher medals to all others.

Benton Harbor Police Athletic League (PAL)
PAL participates in constructive endeavors for the promotion of the general welfare and interest of the youth of Benton Harbor. PAL encourages fellowship and camaraderie between youth (ages 12-18) and local law enforcement through the means of common interest in sports and social activities. PAL provides opportunities for educational, social, and athletic activities under the leadership of competent role models. Part of the mission is to collaborate with other like-minded youth organizations in an effort to effectively serve the youth of our community within the scope of PAL.
RACE DAY INFO
THIS IS A CHIP TIMED RACE. FOR ACCURATE RESULTS:
Wear the bib assigned to you.
- Pre-registered participants will find a label on the bib back
- Make sure the name and age information is correct.
Your race bib should be secured to the front of your outer most layer of clothing so that it can be read as you cross the start and finish line.
- PIN OR SECURE the bib on your abdomen, or front of thigh
- DO NOT pin on your back
- DO NOT cover your bib with a shirt or coat
- If the bib is not visible from the front, it may not be read by equipment and you may not receive a finish time.
AWARDS
Six Overall Male and Female Finishers in the following Divisions will receive Riveridge Apple Cider and a fruit pie from Piggott's Farm Market and Bakery
- Overall Finisher (Any Age)
- Overall Master's (Age 40 & Above)
- Overall Youth (Age 14 & Under)
Top two Male and Female Finishers in the following Divisions will receive a Gold or Silver medal
- 14 & Under
- 15 - 19
- 20 - 29
- 30 - 39
- 40 - 49
- 50 - 59
- 60 - 69
- 70 - 70
- 80 & Over
*Participants are only eligible to win one division
Finisher medals will be awarded at the finish line to the first 500 registrants. If you receive a custom bib, you are guaranteed to receive a finisher medal.
NOTE:
Didn't get a shirt? Shirts not picked up by race start will be available on a first come, first served basis after the race.
Didn't get a custom bib and finisher medal? Stick around after the race. Any remaining medals will be available on a first come, first served basis.
