- The Little City is hosting it's 39th Annual Vergennes Day Races Virtually this year! Our virtual window begins Saturday August 1st and ends Saturday August 31st. Sign up to walk a 5K, run a 5, 10 or 15K. In need of a challenge? Complete the newly added Triple Crown; run a 5K, 10K, and 15K within the month of August and earn a special medal and some extra race swag.
Virtual Race Details
- You have the entire month of August to complete your race(s).
- Once you complete your race please submit photographic evidence of your time to devondrewes@gmail.com.
- Once your participation is confirmed upon submission of your time, you will be eligible to receive your race swag!
- Participants who complete the 5K walk, 5K run, 10K run and the 15k run will receive a finisher medal.
- Participants who complete the Triple Crown challenge will receive a custom medal. In addition to the custom medal, the fastest female and male will receive a customized crystalline award, customized T-shirt, and $100 in Vergennes green to be spent in participating stores in Vergennes! The fastest time will be determined simply by adding up the individual race times into one composite time overall!
- Starting Wednesday September 2nd participants will be able to pick up their race swag at City Hall in Vergennes.
- Proceeds from this race will be donated to Addison County Home Health and Hospice. Please consider "Running it forward" and making an additional donation to support those in need in our community.
