Jason's Bio

Jason Mabe was a new addition to the Racine MultiSports team in 2018. Jason was hired as an assistant timer and is looking forward to “learning all the ins and outs of what it takes to put on a top-notch Racine Event!”  Jason saw Ken and the Racine Team at multiple events around the area and always enjoyed the atmosphere that was present. After being involved as a participant for many years he began to give back and volunteer as well and found a new joy within the sport. After learning he could work within the field, it was an easy next step for him to join the Racine MultiSports crew.

Jason works for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as their Endurance Sports Representative.  He has a wife and two kids who support his love to compete. His kids are just getting to the age where they can participate in the kids fun runs at events which he is really enjoying.

Jason was first introduced to Triathlon in college when he took a course on it! He was hooked. He has taken seasons off but the atmosphere and challenge of the multisport events have always brought him back! If it is considered an endurance event Jason has probably competed in it, road runs, trail runs, OCR, adventure races, duathlons, and triathlons, but his favorite discipline is duathlons and triathlons.

Favorite Racine MultiSports race and why?
I enjoy the Hagerstown Du. The course is fast and fun, the atmosphere is great!
