Vincent's Bio

Vince joined the Racine MultiSports Head Timer team in 2022. Vince has been involved in athletics his whole life, primarily with lacrosse through the collegiate level. He discovered his passion for running, cycling, and multisports later in life when he began competing in team duathlon relay events with his dad (and even as a trio with his sister for a race!) and completing a 49-day relay-style run across the country with the Ulman Foundation’s 4K for Cancer Program in 2018 (San Francisco, CA to Baltimore, MD). After completing his first solo duathlon at the Racine MultiSports Hagerstown Duathlon in 2021 with his dad, he looked forward to joining the RMS team to learn more about multisport events and fully embracing the community that had already taught him so much about leadership, perseverance, and teamwork. He hopes to branch out from marathon running with sights on some ultra-marathons and other multisport events.

Outside of Racine MultiSports, Vince has built a career in clinical research, most recently at the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center (Baltimore, MD) and currently as a Senior Project Manager with Brigham and Women’s Hospital (Boston, MA). Vince earned a Master’s in Health Science (MHS) in Health Economics & Outcomes Research from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (Baltimore, MD) and a B.S. in Cellular, Molecular, & Physiological Biology from Christopher Newport University (Newport News, VA). Vince’s race history includes duathlons (sprint, off-road, team relay) and running (marathons, 10k, 5k). Outside of work and racing, Vince enjoys hiking, catching a sunset along the Baltimore Waterfront Promenade, relaxing at the beach, scuba diving, and playing in coed soccer leagues around Baltimore. He also appreciates spending time with family and is looking forward to biking the Great Allegheny Passage with his dad and becoming a new Uncle in 2023!

Favorite Racine MultiSports race: “Hagerstown Duathlon – my first solo duathlon, and my dad’s last race of his 50s! Racing events have allowed me to build so many positive memories with my dad, and this was the first multisport event when we crossed the same finish line as individual, solo racers. I’ll never forget it.”
