Washingtonville Scholarship Run

5K RUN -  Medals given to the top three runners in each age group.

• 9+under, 10-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+up
• If you plan on walking and running, you should sign up for the run.

5K WALK - (For serious walkers) Medals given in 3 women’s and 3 men’s groups (People who run will be disqualified). Walkers will start with the runners and will line up in the back of the starting line. 

KID’S RUN - Toddlers to fifth grade - Due to construction on the track, the Kid's Run will take place in the WHS Gymnasium in distances from 50 meters to 800 meters. (Age appropriate distances) Starts at 11:00 AM - Each finisher will receive a medal.

T-SHIRTS: Given to all participants in the 5K run and walk, who have pre-registered by March 14, 2026. Any application received after March 14th are not guaranteed to receive a t-shirt. T-shirts will be Unisex Short sleeve cotton fit for the 5K Race and for the Kids Run.

AWARDS: The top three overall women and men will receive a custom designed trophy.

REGISTRATION: Race Day registration and Packet Pick-Up will be in the High School Cafeteria.

• 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM Saturday, March 21, 2026

ENTRY FEE: 5K $30 by March 14, 2026 (tax included), $33 March 15th - March 20th (tax included), and $35 on race day (tax included).

• All Race Day 5K Entries will be $35 Registration Fee
• Kid’s Run $5 by March 14, 2026 $7 March 15th - March 20th, and $10 race day

If you are an elementary student and plan to run the 5K Race, please sign up for the 5K and not the Kid's Run using code Elem5K20.

There will be a pasta luncheon sponsored by T&M Deli immediately following the race in the WHS Cafeteria. Participants from all races are free and the cost for any additional family member or friend is $5/ticket.

Don’t forget to stop by the Tricky Tray and Raffle Tables sponsored by the WHS PTA. Tickets $1 each or 7 tickets for $5.00. Proceeds to benefit the Annual Washingtonville Scholarship Run.
