All donations go directly to the Semper Fi & America's Fund, and do not cover my airfare, hotel, beer, bratwursts, etc. Please do not be an uncharitable spectator, be a generous Donator... My ultimate goal is to receive 249 individual donors & 125 donors by Memorial Day ❤

Welcome to my fundraising page!

 Dear Family and Friends,

Please join me one more time as I conduct my first fundraiser for the Semper Fi & America's Fund as a "Retired Marine."  I am attempting to join the "Abbott World Marathon Majors" finishers (Boston Marathon, NYC Marathon, Chicago Marathon, London Marathon, Berlin Marathon, Tokyo Marathon). I have two marathons remaining (Berlin & Tokyo) and I will be running as part of the "Semper Fi & America's Fund 2024 Berlin Marathon Team" which will take place on 29 September 2024 in Berlin, Germany. All your donations will be going directly to the Semper Fi & America's Fund and the injured Marines, Soldiers, Sailors, and Airmen who need them the most.

My ultimate goal is to receive 249 individual donors in honor of the 249 years the USMC, Navy and Army have been protecting this great nation. So any small donation amount would be greatly appreciated.  I have chosen $17,750 as my monetary goal in honor of the USMC being established back in 1775.

The Semper Fi & America's Fund (www.thefund.org) is still one of the best non-profit veteran's charities in the USA. A big difference since the last time I fundraised for the Semper Fi Fund is they have merged with the America's Fund so they now assist ALL of America's service members and not just Marines.  Their mission now is to the help care for our nation's critically wounded, ill, and injured service members, veterans, and military families. Supporting all branches of the U.S. Armed Forces, they provide one-on-one case management, connection, and lifetime support. No amount is too small to donate and the Semper Fi & America's Fund still has VERY low admin and fundraising expenses (averaged 6% overhead since inception) compared to other charities, so more money goes directly to support injured Marines and other service members.  The Semper Fi & America's Fund has been awarded the highest ratings from several watchdog groups: "A+ Top Rated Charity" from CharityWatch, one of only three veteran nonprofits to receive this rating in recent years, and "4 Stars" from Charity Navigator, a rating only given to 4% of all charities.  The Semper Fi & America's Fund has assisted over 31,000 wounded heroes and their families with over $300 million since its inception in 2004.

Thank you for supporting this great cause! I encourage everybody to go to the Semper Fi & America's Fund webpage (www.thefund.org) and see all the ways they support injured service members and their families and see why I have always been so passionate about this veteran's charity.  I encourage everybody to do their research and you will discover the Semper Fi & America's Fund is the BEST veteran's charity out there and they still need all our help.

If you can't make a donation at this point, please help me reach my goal by sharing this page on Facebook or other social media.  Or please consider sending an e-mail to friends who might be interested in contributing and include a link to my page!

I remain Semper Fidelis,

Bill
