Ever since Race Across the Sky hit theaters in 2009, racing the Leadville Trail 100 has been a dream of mine. This August, that dream becomes real — I'll be lining up at 10,200 feet to take on 100 miles of high-altitude Rocky Mountain racing.
I'm proud to be riding as part of the Chris Klug Foundation (CKF) team. CKF was founded by Olympic snowboarder Chris Klug, who received a lifesaving liver transplant and went on to win an Olympic medal. The foundation is dedicated to raising awareness about organ and tissue donation — a cause that saves thousands of lives every year.
Every dollar raised supports CKF's mission. Thank you for helping me chase this dream while supporting one that matters far more.
