2025 Wolfpack Regional Modern Pentathlon

The Wolfpack Regional Modern Pentathlon is an all-day event in which participants have an opportunity to compete in all five disciplines of the Olympic sport of Modern Pentathlon as it will be featured at the LA 2028 Games.  These sports include ninja obstacle course racing, fencing, swimming, and laser-run (running and laser pistol shooting).

Competition Venues:
Obstacle Course Race: Ninja Republic in San Mateo, CA
All Other Events: Sequoia High School in Redwood City, CA

Schedule:

8:00 am - 11:00 am: Obstacle Course Race at Ninja Republic

11:30 am - 2:30 pm: Fencing at Sequoia High School Main Gym

2:30 pm - 4:30 pm: Swimming at Sequoia High School Pool

5:00 pm - 8:00 pm: Laser-Run at Sequoia High School Stadium

This event is suitable for people of all genders, abilities, and ages (7+).  No previous experience is needed.

For purposes of division assignment, the age of an athlete is their age as of December 31, 2025. 

For youth athletes, the 2024 Wolfpack Regional Modern Pentathlon will serve as a selection competition for Team USA for the 2025 UIPM Youth and Junior World Championships.  Participants will gain valuable experience for the 2025 USAPM National Championships, which will be held in the Fall (location and date TBD).
