Runners and walkers of all ages are welcome, with race distances for kids and adults winding through the city of Woodland. Whether you’re chasing a personal record or enjoying a relaxed stroll, the Woodland Turkey Trot is the perfect way to kick off your holiday with fitness, laughter, and community spirit.
Arrive at least 60 minutes early, or trot virtually in your own neighborhood to join the fun from anywhere!

Race Routes
FAQ's
Yes, strollers are allowed on the course during any of the race routes. Children in strollers do not need to pay for entry for the event.
No, we are not allowing pets on the race course at this event. Well-behaved pets are allowed at the registration area but must be on a leash at all times.
Service dogs are welcome as long as they stay on their leash during the entire event.
All participants who enter before 11/1/2026 will recieve a short sleeved t-shirt and finisher medal.
All participants that register after 11/1/2026 will receive a short sleeved t-shirt and finisher medal on a first come, first served basis.
There will be opportunities to pick up your t-shirt and race bib early; more information about time and place will be provided in the future by email to registered runners.
Yes, there is race-day registration availalable at the Late Registration price of $70 for adults and $50 for youth (Ages 0 to 17).
Limited parking will be available at the Woodland Community and Senior Center and at Woodland Christian School nearby. Other parking options can be found in surrounding parking lots and on streets,. Please follow all official parking signs on neighboring streets.
The start and finish lines will be positioned at the Woodland Community and Senior Center.
There will be water stations both at the Woodland Community and Senior Center and along the course for race participants to use.
Yes there are restrooms available at registration/start of the race and along the race course.
The race will happen rain or shine! Please be aware that any weather can affect the course and may impact your timing in the race.
Alcoholic beverages cannot be consumed at the event. Feel free to stop by Blue Note Brewing Company after the race to celebrate!
Yolo Food Bank will accept donations of funds or canned/dry goods at the event. We have plenty of opportunities to also support us through volunteering or sponsorship efforts.
If you cannot stay after the race for the medal ceremony and received a medal, you can stop by Yolo Food Bank to pick it up during our normal operating hours of Monday through Friday 9am - 3pm.
Check in opens up at 6:30am. Please come on by to check in and receive your race bib and t-shirt.
We will have shirts available for pickup during our early packet pickup events and for those who have pre registered for a shirt the day of the event.
