Join us for the first annual Miles for Smiles 5K at Youth Haven, a camp for disadvantaged children located in Rives Juction, MI, about halfway between Lansing and Jackson.
The races will be on a flat, fast cross country course primarily through the woods and with great spectator access.
Afterward, stick around for our annual harvest festival and enjoy the beauty of fall, with good food and outdoor fun for all ages! Weather permitting, activities will include food, hayrides, bonfires, a petting farm, playground, children's games, and a zipline! (Zipline safety requirements: Close-toed shoes are required. Riders must weigh between 75 - 275 pounds.)

1 Mile Fun Run - Free event for ages 7-13. Registration is required.
5k Run/Walk - $25
Participants in both the 1 mile and 5k will receive a drawstring backpack and finisher medal.

Your donation to Youth Haven help meets the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged children. We serve a special group of children who would not be able to experience a place like Youth Haven if they had to pay for it. This includes boys and girls living in foster care, single-parent families, or low-income homes, as well as children who have experienced abuse, neglect, gang violence, or even a parent in prison. We provide our programs to them free of charge, and without state or federal funding.
