Zain started his epilepsy Journey at the age of 4. Through several seizures and two medications, we were able to find what would work for him and he has been seizure-free going on 3 years Sept 11 2019. Our journey is not as long as others but did not come without struggles to overcome. He had an allergic reaction to a medicine that was a scary moment. Also, we were never able to figure out what would trigger his seizures. I see us as one of the few that are able to figure what meds were able to help control his seizures. Which leaves me very grateful and still wanting to find a cure and help for those who still fight! Zain is now a thriving 7 year old who has just started his journey into 2nd grade! He loves fortnite, his cat Salem, going to the gym with dad, and all of his family!
