Event Info
This run will be a timed run for those that want to have fun but are also serious runners. All color aspects of the run will be in the beggining before the race goes off and will be completely optional.
My Peep Challenge!
There will be 3 stations on the run were runners participating in the challenge will have to eat peeps before being able to continue. Each stop will get progressively easier with fewer peeps. Once a volunteer has verified that you have eaten your peeps they will hand you a bracelet to put on your wrist and you will continue. Once you are finished with the race, you must drop your collected bracelets off at the Peep Collection Table in order to be put into the drawing for some awesome prizes! There will be 3 grand prizes only offered to runners who complete the My Peep Challenge. All those who complete the peep challenge will then have an opportunity to win one of three Grand prizes during the awards presentation. This challenge is completely optional!
Registration Fees will include: Event t-shirt (if signed up before 3/31/17), admission to Easter Event, goodie bag and post race refreshments.
Immediately following the start of the run, the festival portion of the event will open exclusively for the 5K participant's family to enjoy while you are running. As a runner your admission is included. The cost for anyone not running will be $3 per person.
Fee schedule:
Registration period 1 [UNTIL 3/31/17] - (Includes cotton shirt) $20/ adults, $15/ kids
Registration period 2 [UNTIL 4/13/17 at 3:00 pm] - (no shirt) $25/ adults, $20 kids
Day of Registration [4/15/17] - (no shirt) $30/ adults, $25 kids
Packet Pick-up
Early Packet Pick-up will be available on "Good Friday" (4/14/17) 8am-1pm. If you are picking up for someone else you must have their confirmation email to be able to leave with their pakcet. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Day of packet pick-up will also be available from 7:30 am to 8:00 am.
Timeline:
7:30am - Registration and packet pick up begins
8:00am - Registration ends
8:15am - Color Ceremony/ National Anthem
8:30am - Race begins
10:00am - Awards & Festival Opens!

Is the color optional?
Yes, the run participants have the option to participate in the "Color Blasts" before the race begins.
What is the "My Peep Challenge"?
This a challenge for those out there that are looking to have a little fun during the 5K. There will be three stations on the run where you will stop and a volunteer will give you peeps that you must finish quickly and thoroughly in order to get a bracelet from the volunteer and be able to continue. Once the you have completed the race, you must present all of your collected bracelets to the 'Peep Collection Table.'
Is the Peep Challenge required?
No. It's totally optional!
Will there be awards?
Yes, awards will be given to Overall Male/Female, Master's Male/Female, Grand Master's Male/Female and 1st, 2nd, 3rd in each age group.
Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
You bet! As long as you send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email.
Is the run timed?
The run will be timed for those runners who want to be. IF you are participating in the "My Peep Challenge" you may notice a slight increase to your normal time.
Can I exchange my t-shirt for a different size?
Unfortunately, we CANNOT exchange t-shirts as they are ordered per-registrant. Please make sure you select the correct t-shirt size during registration.
Are strollers allowed?
You are welcome to push strollers during the run/ walk. All kids under 5 years of age do not have to be registered and will not recieve a shirt.
Can I bring my pets?
Due to liability pets are NOT allowed on the run or at the festival at all.
