Hydration Stations High Priority

You must be 15-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Fill cups with water and hand them to runners as they pass by, cheer runners on, and clean up cups and any garbage left behind. This critical position not only serves the well being of each runner it serves as a potential means for verbal encouragement.

Color Throwing

You must be 15-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 15 more volunteers needed.

Details

Use hands, squirt bottles or other devices to throw color on participants as they pass through the color stations. This is messy fun!



Remember the last time someone cheered and inspired you to keep going and not give up? One of the most appreciated aspects of a run are the cheers encountered along a and run. Own the fact that you will be the most appreciated part of this event. Volunteers will be strategically placed along the race route to inspire and encourage.

Color Captain

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Help lead a team of color throwers. You'll need to show up a little early for some additional training, and you'll help with cleaning up. Must be 18 or older and ready to have an awesome time!

Race Day Registration

You must be 15-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Often times this is the first onsite contact a runner has with each event. How well they are treated and served sets the pace for their overall experience at this event.

Typically two "types" frequent the registration tent; those needing to pick up their race packet and those seeking to register. Attention to detail in making sure forms are filled out completely and that they receive the correct items needed is imperative.

Our team is present to guide and answer any questions that may arise.

Photographer

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 2 more volunteers needed.

Details

If you have a love for photography and have your own camera, we want you! Come to the race and take pictures of all of our racers having tons of colorful fun. Please note that you must provide your own equipment. This event is messy, so make sure you bring protective covers for your cameras. You will be asked to submit copies of any photos or videos taken to Raising Beautiful Butterflies so that we can share them with our participants.

Race Day Cleanup

You must be 15-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

Details

Assist the #BeAFriend crew with cleaning up color pits, breaking down tents, loading equipment and cleaning the course. Some heavy lifting may be involved.

Parking Lot Security

You must be 18-99 years old to volunteer for this task.

At least 10 more volunteers needed.

Details

Assist the #BeAFriend crew in directing traffic and ensuring the security of the color runners vehicles
