Join us for a super fun 5K/10K in support of the efforts of the Black Mountain Greenways & Trails Committee and the Town of Black Mountain to create safe, beautiful paths and byways through our community.

This year the BMGTC is raising money towards completion the Town Council approved phase two of the new walking path in Cragmont Park. Phase two will connect Lake Tomahawk Park to sidewalks at US 70 through Cragmont Park, and will require considerable expenditure on engineering for the crossing at Tomahawk Branch.

Greenways provide safe passageways for fitness, recreation, sustainable transportation, education and preservation of our town’s land resources. Greenways are for everyone! They provide opportunities for families enjoying time together outdoors, persons using wheelchairs, students learning about nature, and even runners training for our 5/10K.
