gather all supplies, table(s), trash can and water and transport to water station site.
Fill water coolers, set up cups and water, hand out water to runners, gather trash, break down stations at race end.
To coordinate with Course Monitor (stationed at same location)

Location

Water station to be located at Veterans Park/Oaks Greenway Intersection (near sculpture). Can transport tables/coolers to Veterans Park Parking (near ball fields).

Distribute course maps, direct course monitors to their assigned route position, remain at Start/Finish lines to guide runners into homestretch.

Details

Gather course safety signs (including distance markers) in coordination with Event Coordinator, and set along course. Coordinate with race Sweep to collect safety signs and course markers at the end of race.
Wear safety vest and direct runners.
To coordinate location and tasks with Water Station Captain.

10K Course Sweep High Priority

Details

Follow (sweep) the last 10K participant(s) from Start to Finish of course. This Task requires ability to run/walk 5K at end of race. Communicate any needs directly to course captain. Report to Timer and Race Director when you return. This is a very important Safety Task.

Details

Set up tables, signs and all supplies for race day registration.
Upon finishing setup, provide support to volunteer coordinator/ orient volunteers as they arrive.

Registers runners on race day, handle cash payment, give out race swag, distribute previously purchased t-shirts, organize paper registrations.

Maintain safety at corner of Terry Estates Rd. and Black Mountain Avenue. Direct all runners, volunteers and staff to appropriate parking area and race posts (registration, awards, start/end lines). Maintain communication via cell phone with Event Director.

set up tent, tables, and all display and handout materials. Answer questions about the Greenways and direct visitors to resources.

Sell greenway swag, distribute pint glasses, accept donations. manage cash box.

Mark off Bib Number for received pint glass.
