"The Southern Arizona Roadrunners is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to promoting physical and mental fitness in Tucson and Southern Arizona through running and walking. Members are eligible for SAR’s Grand Prix, a benefit available only to members. Additionally, as a member you are eligible for up to $75 in race discounts every year, as well as discounts at a variety of merchants and service providers around Southern Arizona.

Your membership supports SAR’s mission of promoting health and fitness in Tucson and Southern Arizona through running and walking. Every year , our events generate roughly $30,000 for local charities. Beyond our running and walking events, SAR runs a series of programs to promote health and fitness in the community, including the FitKidz children's running program, the Children’s Fitness Fund, and the Spirit of Rob Bell Award. Furthermore, SAR serves as an advocate for runners and walkers in Southern Arizona, making our community a safer, more friendly place to be active.
