Saturday Feb 8th Lake Run Club Annual Meeting at Fiala Bros in Normal.  For the first time, we will also include a 5k Run as part of the annual meeting.  Post race lunch and beverages are included with registration  Register today! 

March 1st.  First of the LRC Circuit Races the  Zoo Stampede 5k 

March 4th is our Fat Tuesday Mardis Gras themed 5k/10k run. Partial proceeds going to St.Vincent Depaul in Bloomington.  Registration link

March 5th is our kickoff for WWW (Waverunners Wednesday Workouts) Need to get a bump start on 2025 racing season?  Then WWW is for you!  Eight weeks of weekly workouts will get you prepared to have your best Lake Run ever and also includes for race fees for the Lake Run!   Registration Link

March 16th St.Pats Day 5K which is the first of our 2025 "Mix-a-Six" Race series. Registration Link

April 5th Adventures Benefiting Children Run/Walk #190.  8:00 AM Baby Fold 108 E Willow in Normal 3-6 mile routes. 

May 3rd Lake Run 4.37 mile, 12K (7.44) and 3 mile walk. Registration link

 

 

LRC Backstory

What started as two friends enjoying a run around Lake Bloomington in the early 1980's.  Evolving into Thursday afternoon runs around Lake Bloomington.   Lake Run Club is one of the longest established Central Illinois’ premier run club; providing fun and challenging races, programs, services, and social events for all ages and abilities. The Lake Run Club is a not-for-profit organization that’s powered by volunteers to promote running and racing in the Bloomington-Normal area.

The Lake Run Club is open to everyone, and is accepting new members. Whether you’re a casual runner or a marathon enthusiasts, we’re looking forward to running with you. We may take running seriously, but the fun and friendly roots of the club are still alive and well, and we want you to join in on the fun.
