Seaside Striders Running Club is excited to announce its Winter Club's is kicking off the first weekend of 2022, and running 8 weeks through January and February (Jan 8 - Mar 5). Join some great people at North County's favorite in-person workouts for runners. Get in some social time, fantastic running, and most importantly, get fitter and train for your next goal in a setting that will help you discover and blossom your joy and motivation for running!
Continuing for Winter Run Club in 2022, we will be hosting a 8 week block during January and February designed to provide that will motivate in you in the New Year while manifesting the fitness boost that will help you reach your goals. The Winter Session's season begins on the first week of January (join us on either Saturday or Wednesday for your first workout!) and runs until Saturday, March 5th, 2022.
We have multiple options available for Winter Run Club to accommodate the various levels of motivation we are all experiencing during this time including 4 levels of group schedules, and individualized weekly personal schedules.
Seaside Striders Running Club is coached by Jim O'Hara who has been coaching running and triathlon for over 20 years. He's a former Team USA athlete, a 3 All-American, and an RRCA Certified Coach with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii. The club's coaching philosophy is built around the concept of improving runner's abilities and confidence by combining classic running theory with up to date and data driven concepts while focusing on creating a life/sport balance. Each runner benefits from group workouts, while also having a personalized running schedule to suit their individual goals.
We have multiple options available for Fall/Holiday Run Club's to accommodate various levels of runners and distance focuses.
PERSONAL COACHING & IN-PERSON WORKOUTS
Seaside Striders Running Club has always prided itself for it's attention to personal coaching in a running club setting. We all have different goals, and that may never have been more true than now. The Personal Coaching & In-Person Workout option allows runners with varying goals to run workouts together while providing the personal touch that keeps them focused on their personal and specific goals.
For Winter Run Club in 2022, Seaside Striders will be offering North County runners lively, and inspiring group running workouts as well as dynamic focus of each runner's running skills, and personal coaching. Find the best motivation anyone can find 2x per week at these workouts where we'll challenge ourselves and encourage each other. We also join the Monday Run in Solana Beach as an optional social run each week to enjoy some social running and to connect with Coach Jim who leads the run.
