Bring you running to another level and have fun in the process. Seaside Striders is offering its 2023 Winter Run Club. This session is a 7 week session with the option for personalized running schedules, or 7 week custom block schedules. Spring Club starts the week of January 15th, 2023 and goes through March 4th, 2023. We'll be training for Winter, Spring, and Summer events. Most runners are training for Half Marathons, Marathons, or Triathlon - with a few running because its just fun! Seaside Striders offers you the chance to run in a positive and fun environment with a group that includes a broad base of abilities and running experience.
Whether you're building off of the Early Winter Session with a goal of running Boston or your just starting to run and train for marathons & half marathons, or you want to start to expand your running through practice, planned workouts, and "on the run" education, there's a place for you with the Seaside Striders Running Club.
PERSONAL COACHING & IN-PERSON WORKOUTS
Seaside Striders Running Club has always prided itself for it's attention to personal coaching in a running club setting. We all have different goals, and that may never have been more true than now. The Personal Coaching & In-Person Workout option allows runners with varying goals to run workouts together while providing the personal touch that keeps them focused on their personal and specific goals.
For the 2023 Winter Run Club, Seaside Striders will be offering North County runners liveliest, and most inspiring group run workouts as well as dynamic focus of each runner's running skills, and personal coaching. Find the best motivation anyone can find 2x per week at these workouts where we'll challenge ourselves and encourage each other. We also join the Monday Run in Solana Beach as an optional social run each week to enjoy some social running and to connect with Coach Jim who leads the run.
Here's What's Included:
- Personal Weekly Run Schedules. Get a little more 1 on 1 coaching with a personal run schedule sent straight to your inbox each week. This allows for more coaching interaction, a higher level of customization of your workouts, and added flexibility from week to week.
- In-Person Run Workouts for All Run Club Participants **
- Saturday In-Person Long Runs - Social distanced and planned out long runs with Covid guidelines followed, staggered start times, and the closest thing to a group run anywhere.
- Small Group Wednesday In-Person Speed Workout - We'll break into smaller groups and meet up with a pod of runners for speed work. Speedwork is better with friends!
- Weekly Club Newsletter - Get group news on upcoming events (even if we have to make our own!), updates on fellow runners, and running tips to help you stay fired up.
- Social Time - A little social time with your running buds is just what the doctor ordered, when you talk about finding balance. These optional evenings and post run times are for runners and their families members to get together, connect over a coffee or event, and just enjoy a little bit of fun with your club mates.
GROUP RUN SCHEDULE AND IN-PERSON WORKOUTS
This option gives you the ability to customize your workout with a stress free 7 week schedule that covers the entire 7 week session of the 2023 Winter Run Club. It allows participants the guidance you're looking for and workouts that will keep you fit, and motivate during the fall run season no matter what your long or short term goals.
-7 Week Group Schedule -A full 7 weeks' running schedule w options A-D (Beginner to Advanced), and our famous Speed Work PDF w options A-D (Beginner to Advanced, but all can be coordinated with a different lettered Block Schedule). These can be customized to fit your week to week availability.
