Seaside Striders Running Club is excited to announce its Fall Run/Holidays Club's Session #2 is kicking off the first week of Nov (Nov1-Nov6), and running 9 weeks through the Holiday Season to New Years. Join some great people at North County's favorite in-person workouts for runners. Get in some social time, fantastic running, and most importantly, get fitter and train for your next goal in a setting that will help you discover and blossom your joy and motivation for running!
Continuing for Fall/Holiday Season 2021, we will be hosting a 9 week block during November and December designed to provide that boost in running while manifesting the fitness boost that will help you reach your goals. The Spring Session's season begins on the first week of November (join us on either Saturday or Wednesday for your first workout!) and runs until Saturday, January 1st, 2022.
We have multiple options available for Fall/Holiday Season Run Club's Session 2 to accommodate the various levels of motivation we are all experiencing during this time including 4 levels of group schedules, and individualized weekly personal schedules.
Seaside Striders Running Club is coached by Jim O'Hara who has been coaching running and triathlon for over 20 years. He's a former Team USA athlete, a 3 All-American, and an RRCA Certified Coach with a Bachelor's in Exercise Science from the University of Hawaii. The club's coaching philosophy is built around the concept of improving runner's abilities and confidence by combining classic running theory with up to date and data driven concepts while focusing on creating a life/sport balance. Each runner benefits from group workouts, while also having a personalized running schedule to suit their individual goals.
Option 2 - 9 Week Block Customizable Block Schedule
This option gives you the ability to customize your workout with a stress free 9 week schedule that covers the entire 9 weeks of Spring Run Club's Session 2. It allows participants the guidance you're looking for and workouts that will keep you fit, and motivate during the fall run season no matter what your long or short term goals.
- 6 Week Group Schedule - A full 9 weeks' running schedule with tiered options A-D based on goals and abilities, and our famous Speed Work PDF w options A-D (Beginner to Advanced, but all can be coordinated with a different lettered Block Schedule). These can be customized to fit your week to week availability.
