Description

Events are back and so is SSRC's Summer Run Club for another season of terrific workouts, and great runs with friends.  With events making a return, we'll have options for runners who are running in local events, and training for upcoming half marathons and marathons.  Even if you're not interested in running in an event, Summer Run Club will help you to organize your running and make it even more fun.

Seaside Striders is a year round run club in it's 18th year that offers runners of all levels and abilities the opportunity to run and workout together with synched together seasonal training and coaching sessions.  Seaside Striders has something for all levels - from beginners to Boston Qualifiers, and offers both group schedules and individual coaching options.   We believe in group workouts and individual and personal coaching. 

The Summer Run Club runs from July 11th  through September 4th.  We'll enjoy Saturday morning runs where we build our endurance, and Wednesday Workouts that will challenge you and and help you grow as a runner.

Every runner in the club also receives the weekly SSRC Newsletter filled with running tips, group info, and more. Plus, we'll have several fun socials this summer for all members.  

Whether you're running for fun or to cross a finish line, Seaside Striders Summer Run Club is a great place for any runner this summer.

Personal Weekly Run Schedule

PERSONAL COACHING & IN-PERSON WORKOUTS

Seaside Striders Running Club has always prided itself for it's attention to personal coaching in a running club setting.  We all have different goals, and that may never have been more true than now.  The Personal Coaching & In-Person Workout option allows runners with varying goals to run workouts together while providing the personal touch that keeps them focused on their personal and specific goals. 

Find the best motivation anyone can find at our 2x weekly workouts, where we'll challenge ourselves and encourage each other to reach your goals.

Here's What's Included: 

- Personal Weekly Run Schedules. Get a little more 1 on 1 coaching with a personal run schedule sent straight to your inbox each week. This allows for more coaching interaction, a higher level of customization of your workouts, and added flexibility from week to week. 

- In-Person Run Workouts for All Run Club Participants   

- Saturday In-Person Long Runs - Social distanced and planned out long runs with Covid guidelines followed, staggered start times, and the closest thing to a group run anywhere. 
- Small Group Wednesday In-Person Speed Workout - We'll break into smaller groups and meet up with a pod of runners for speed work.  Speedwork is better with friends!
- Weekly Club Newsletter - Get group news on upcoming events (even if we have to make our own!), updates on fellow runners, and running tips to help you stay fired up.

- Social Time - Summer Time means the return of several favorite SSRC Social evenings that add to the fun and help with getting to know your fellow runners better.

10 Week Group Run Calendar

GROUP RUN SCHEDULE AND IN-PERSON WORKOUTS

​This option gives you the ability to customize your workout with a stress free 10 week schedule that covers the entire 10 weeks of Summer Run Club.  It allows participants the guidance you're looking for and workouts that will keep you fit, and motivate during the fall run season no matter what your long or short term goals. 

​- 10 Week Group Schedule -A full 10 weeks' running schedule w options A-D (Beginner to Advanced), and our famous Speed Work PDF w options A-D (Beginner to Advanced, but all can be coordinated with a different lettered Block Schedule). These can be customized to fit your week to week availability.

- In-Person Run Workouts for All Run Club Participants
