CODE OF CONDUCT FOR DRC CLUB MEMBERS

• I will show respect for my fellow DRC members at all times.

• I will show respect and appreciation for the volunteers who give their time to help the DRC and/or at DRC events.

• I will not yell, taunt, or threaten physical violence upon another DRC member, a volunteer, a guest or event spectator.

• I will refrain from using abusive or vulgar language, or making racial, ethnic or gender-related slurs or derogatory comments toward another DRC member, a volunteer, a guest or event spectator.

• I will refrain from making unwanted sexual or physical contact with another DRC member, a volunteer, a guest or event spectator.

• I will abide by race rules and engage in fair competition, which includes anti-doping compliance, no course cutting, or other means of gaining a competitive advantage that is considered cheating when participating in DRC races or other races where I may represent the club by wearing DRC-branded apparel.

• I will report violations of the Member Code of Conduct policy to the Board in writing.

*Members with a criminal history of violence or with a legal restraining order against them by another member may be barred from membership and participation in all DRC activities.

*Members found to be listed on a sex offender registry, convicted of a sex crime, or caught having, creating, or distributing child pornography will be immediately barred from DRC membership and all participation in club activities.

Complaints lodged against DRC members (or other runners at an DRC-sponsored event) shall be managed using the Road Runners Club of America (RRCA) Complaint Resolution Process.
