Donate to the FitKidz Fund!

We need your help to fund SAR's ever-growing & 100% free FitKidz running program! As we all agree, the benefits of running and walking are endless for our physical, mental and social well being. Our hope is that as many local youth as possible can experience those benefits through SAR's free FitKidz one mile races and free FitKidz running camps!

Programs are designed to promote the love of running and being outdoors as part of a healthy lifestyle. So far over 4,500 kids have crossed a FitKidz finish line. At FitKidz races each child is given a free FitKidz racing series shirt, a finisher ribbon, and an official time just like any official SAR event.

Our goal is to keep programs free for all kids, so they are not cost prohibitive to any family. However, these volunteer run programs do have real costs associated with them. We have big dreams of getting more and more youth involved, but we need your help! 

Every $10 covers the cost of one FitKidz finisher and every $20 covers the cost of a FitKidz camp participant! Our goal is to have 750-1000 finishers this year in our FitKidz races and to offer more than one 60-child FitKidz camp!
