Lake Run Club members, these upcoming races will pay points for end-of-year awards. Last year, the Lake Run Club paid out over $1200 in awards to our Lake Run Club members who participated in Lake Run and Lake Run Circuit races.

1/2 full or 1/2 empty? Fall is one of the best time of the year for running. Lake Run Club is hosting a free mile run, and will be awarding gift card prizes for a few different categories. We have open mile, fastest male and female. Prediction mile run, with your finish time aligning to the actual time of the Autumn Equinoix which is Sept 22nd, at 7:43 AM. For example, if you predict that you can run a 10 minute mile, you will need to be ready to start at 7:30 AM. NO WATCHES OR TIME KEEPING DEVICES ALLOWED. Age Graded result, https://www.goodrunguide.co.uk/AgeGraded.asp? For example, 62 Female running 9:15 would calculate at 61.89 and beat a 30 year old Female running 7:30 at 55.97. Course opens at 7:15 AM on Sunday, Sept 22nd for an early mile run and please register below. The course start is at Linden and Northtown road, and the course will run point to point to Towanda Ave. Suggest parking at the old Kerrick elevator lot or Rosa parks is a good spot with approximately 1.2 mile warm up, do your 1 mile run, turn around and head back to Rosa Parks for 4.4 mile run. You can also do a virtual mile, and report your time below for an age-graded result.

What started as two friends enjoying a run around Lake Bloomington in the early 1980's. Evolving into Thursday afternoon runs around Lake Bloomington. Lake Run Club is one of the longest established Central Illinois’ premier run club; providing fun and challenging races, programs, services, and social events for all ages and abilities. The Lake Run Club is a not-for-profit organization that’s powered by volunteers to promote running and racing in the Bloomington-Normal area.
The Lake Run Club is open to everyone, and is accepting new members. Whether you’re a casual runner or a marathon enthusiasts, we’re looking forward to running with you. We may take running seriously, but the fun and friendly roots of the club are still alive and well, and we want you to join in on the fun.
