Description
The Springfield Road Runners Club was founded in 1977 in order to promote running in Springfield and surrounding areas. The SRRC hosts five races each year including the Lincoln Presidential Half Marathon (Apr), Women's Distance Festival (Jul), State Fair Parade Run (Aug), Abe's Amble (Aug), and the Frostbite Festival (Dec).
Along with the races, there are training groups so you never have to run alone if you don't want to! The Halfwits, Abe's Army, FrostToes, track speedwork and member coordinated groups runs happen throughout the year. The club also hosts several socials each year, including the annual banquet, which are free or low-cost to members.
All runners/walkers of all ages, paces, abilities are welcome!

2024 Individual Membership- Adult
Adult membership – any individual, 18 years or older, unless they meet the Student criteria
Minimum Age: 18

2024 Individual Membership - Student/Youth
Student Membership – any individual under the age of 22, enrolled in school, college or university
Youth Membership- any individual under the age of 18 who joins as a member (requires parent or guardian consent)
