Description

Greetings and salutations, welcome to the SBC homepage!

SBC is a competitive running club that offers individually tailored training for all distances, tiers, and age groups of runners.

The intended goal of this club is to assemble a team of large variety to compete in races all around California. (Or you can stick to races around 805 area-code for those of you who are homebodies!)

If you wish to give the club a test-run (ha-ha literally) message me by e-mail or text to let me know you will be showing up to our next session! The first week of training is completely free!

Furthermore, if you choose to commit to becoming a member of SBC, one must simply fill-out a questionnaire detailing your age, type of run training you wish to receive (i.e. Sprint, Mid-distance, or Distance training), and level of experience. Any additional pertinent information, including PR's (personal bests/race records) or medical conditions that you are comfortable sharing with me (all confidential, no person other than me is privy to what you enter) are also helpful assist me in garnering a better understanding of your fitness/skill level.

If any of this seems daunting, do not worry! Running, while a physically individual sport, is built upon levels of team-work and camaraderie that ultimately culminate in a positive experience. This club is judgement free, so there is no need to be afraid. Always feel free to approach me in person or message me by text or e-mail (Seth Frazer is my name) if you are concerned, have any questions, or just need the occasional venting session about how shin splints have made you consider cutting off your leg and replacing it with a po-go stick (something that has actually been said to me by one of the kid's I coached back in Fresno).

Look forward to seeing all your beautiful faces out on the trails!

IF YOU PLAN ON REGISTERING OR ALREADY HAVE, CLICK THE LINKED TEXT BELOW OR USE THE QR CODE PROVIDED ON THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE AND FILL OUT THIS DIGITAL FORM! I CREATE A SHEET USING THE INFO PROVIDED! THANK YOU!

About Me -

Hi! I'm Seth Frazer, the founder and head-coach of the SBC running club!

Furthermore, here's four quick things about me that I think are important for you guys to know.

  1. I am 20 years of age, born and raised in the San Joaquin Valley, Fresno, CA!
  2. I attended Central High-school graduating top 3 in my class with a GPA of 4.68, then went on to Clovis Community where I earned the academic "Torch of Excellence" award and am now an incoming transfer student to UCSB for Molecular Biology. Eventually, the hope is to graduate with a masters in biology, obtain a PHD in my field, then teach/coach at a university in California.
  3. I have been running since the age 6, starting with my grandfather when he would take me out with him on part of his runs. He has also been a runner his whole life, and is the person I credit for inspiring my youthful passion of running. I continued to run through all of my time in grade school and at the community college level; participating in all distances from the mile, to marathons. Over the course of that time I have developed a substantial knowledge of health and running mechanics that I wish to utilize to coach and continue to develop my own skills as a competitive runner.
  4. My running goal is to compete in the Olympics for the Marathon. Every action I take is pursuit of that goal, and I want to share my passion with others. Additionally, I want to know what your goals are; regardless of how big or small they may be! Running is community effort, and together we can lift each-other up in pursuit of our goals.

Below I am attaching my resume just for your own information! Feel free to take a look, I am an open book.
