Description

Getting Kids Fits is here to improve the fitness, health and self-esteem through enjoyable, dynamic and interesting activities.  Through fun and engaging group activities kids will be motivated to have fun and workout while putting down their electronic devices.

Childhood obesity rates are increasing at an alarming rate and the causes can be attributed to lack of physical activity, poor nutrition and low self-esteem.  Getting Kids Fit is here to give kids of all abilities a chance to be active, make healthy choices, and to teach them to feel good about themselves.  Kids love to be active and have fun.  Through activity and encouragement  from Getting Kids Fit, your child will have the opportunity to do both.

Getting Kids Fits is offering a new program "Kids Run the Nation Program".  The emphasis of this program is on participation and developing a healthy lifestyle as opposed to the competitive aspects of running.  However, this program will touch on the aspects of competitive running throught out the course of the program.

The Kids Run the Nation Program is divided into 10 weeks of instruction and activity.

Running is a sport for all ages

There are running programs for kids and adults.  People learn to run at an early age and many continue to run well into their 70s and beyond.  Running is a sport in which everyone in the family can participate.

Running is the most accessible sport

No matter where you live, work, or go to school, there are areas that are safe for running.  Running clubs, youth running programs, and events can be found in nearly every city in the United States.

Running is the perfect exercise

35 minutes of running three to four times a week will result in improved physical fitness.  Running strengthens the heart and lungs and the major muscles of the body.
