As part of PGRC's "Runner Development Workshops Series", the Training Committee is pleased to offer a workshop for CURRENT club members.
"Nutrition and Fueling for Runners - Wednesday September 30th at 12:00pm (check in begins at 9:45am)

This clinic will focus on strategies for all runners and include: Getting started with running nutrition, hydration, carbs/proteins/fat and how they play a roll with running, snacking, and nutrition for increasing mileage.
Instructor:
Alex is a Registered Dietitian at Rebecca Bitzer and Associates. he is passionate about empowering clients to feel comfortable and confident in making food choices. He practices the non-dieting, or REBEL, approach to health, nutrition and intuitive eating. Alex enjoys helping her clients build a healthy relationship with food and their bodies and takes a compassionate approach to do so. She understands each person has his or her own visions of nutrition and health and works with her clients to help them develop an individualized, “all-foods-fit” nutrition plan.
____ has a special interest in sports and running nutrition. She is a marathon runner herself; she has ran in the Baltimore Marathon and the Disney World Marathon. She enjoys helping runners improve performance through nutrition leading up to race day and proper fueling during and after the race. She works with runners of all different levels--from beginner to marathon runners.
