We are a competitive youth cross-country team from Mooresville, North Carolina. 

Race City Elite was borne of the idea that young runners deserve a place to train together to take their racing to the next level. Our goal is to bridge the gap between play-based elementary programs and competitive high school racing. We are here to organize an advanced, science-based, elite training team to develop the next generation of great runners in Mooresville!

All of the programs listed below are suitable for both new AND experienced runners! Athletes of any ability level are encouraged to participate.

Inaugural Season Outlook

• March - May: Spring Conditioning
  • Two days per week
  • Emphasis on team-building and balancing running with the variety of other activities in which athletes participate.
• June - August: Summer Warmup
  • Four days per week
  • Workouts will focus on getting ready for competitive races in the fall. We will build our fitness progressively to ensure race readiness when it matters the most.
• September - December: Racing Season
  • Four days per week including races
  • Race schedule TBD
  • Fully periodized training to get athletes ready to peak at the right time!
