Description
The Mebane Running Club is a group of friends and neighbors, both new and experienced runners, who meet on Saturday mornings and Wednesday evenings for a run and coffee. We travel to local races in Raleigh, Durham, High Point, Greensboro and Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The MRC is a non-profit, 501 (c)(3) organization and an active member of the Road Runners’ Club of America.
Group Run Information:
New members and friends are always welcome. You do not need to be a member to participate in our weekly group runs. The MRC has members of all speeds and fitness levels from all over the area. Baby joggers and friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at our runs, with the exception of track and trail events. Visiting Mebane or the surrounding area on vacation or to visit family? Come out and run with us!

Regular Group Road Runs:
Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m.
Bright Penny Brewing, 107 N. 7th Street in Mebane
Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m.
Melomaniac Coffee, 116 West Clay Street in Mebane
Speed: 7-13 min. mile pace groups
Distance: 3-10 miles (attendee dependent)
Policies: New runners always welcome! Please wear reflective gear and bring a light for night runs! Baby joggers & friendly, leashed dogs are welcome as well.
Post-run refreshment and conversation: optional but highly encouraged
Group Run Weather Policy: If there is thunder or lightning, no run. Drizzle, heat, cold or light rain? Lace up your shoes . . . let's go!
Membership Levels
Family Membership
Covers two or more runners in a household, all adult members of the household have voting privileges and benefits of membership.
- The MRC is charged per household (aka per address). If adult family members live at separate addresses, please pay for separate memberships.
- PLEASE be sure to include the names of all family members by clicking on the ADD A MEMBER button at the bottom of the information section, and include the names of all those who will be in the club.
- If additional members want to log in and use the Running Journal, be sure to assign them a password as well.
