Interested in helping out ? Please sign up yourself as a Volunteer and go to the CONN Office to fill out the required Wake County Public School System Volunteer forms... in takes less than 10 minutes!
All the kids will be so happy to have more volunteers help out... this will be a fun time for all.

General Information

When: Mondays & Wednesdays Apr 18 to May 25
Who: All grades, boys and girls, all inclusive
Where: Meet at the top of the yellow stairs inside the front doors of school and we will walk to the track at 4pm
Time: End of School to 5:15pm - pickup at carpool (or at the track if before 5:15pm)
No Fees: This is a FREE club
Weather: If it is raining at 3:00pm run club will NOT meet and emails will be sent out, make up days will not be rescheduled.  Further into the season, if the weather is too rainy we may have some indoor run sessions, and emails will be sent to keep everyone up to date.

Based on guidance of the Road Runners Club of America -  Kids Run the Nation this run club will promote:

    - Having fun with running
    - Promoting a healthy lifestyle
    - Learning positive running techniques
    - Practicing short and longer distances
 

Practices will consist of the following cadence:
    - warm up
    - stretching
    - water break
    - coaches chat and learning topics
    - running exercises / games / drills
    - water break
    - cool down
    - stretching
