The Salt Lake City Track Club is dedicated to promoting the welfare of the Salt Lake running community. Our mission is threefold: provide social running opportunities to runners of all distances, give back to the running community through donations and volunteerism, and organize several state-of-the-art road races every winter.

The Salt Lake City Track Club offers Making Strides, a 5-week Fall program (started in 2009) that introduces kids to running. The program fulfills several needs within an underserved community of kids in the 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. We provide participating kids with running shoes, technical t-shirts, socks, and post-session snacks. Kids receive instruction and encouragement from coaches, get exposure to running as a sport, and learn about the importance of being active.
Making Strides gratefully acknowledges support from Ragnar Relay.
