LAA 5K Fun Run & Food Trucks
Join us for the LAA (Louisville Apartment Association) Outreach Committee's 5K Fun Run & Food Trucks event! The goal of this event is to help raise funds for the LAA Outreach Committee's charitable community involvement. And have fun while doing it!
The committee helps several charities through out Louisville, including: Stand Down for the Homeless with the Homeless Coalition, Reverse Trick or Treat with Family Scholar House, Ronald McDonald House and Gilda's Club, as well as many other charities throughout the year.
At the event will be collecting gently used shoes for WaterStep, a non- profit organization in Louisville, KY, dedicated to bringing safe drinking water to children and families in water-scarce areas all over the world. Please bring any new or gently used shoes, of any sizes, types, or styles, as long as they are free from mold/mildew.
Race day offers a family-friendly experience:
- 5K Run & Walk
- Free Registration for kids 4 and under
- Water & Post-Race Nutrition for participants
- Pet Friendly
- Food Truck vendors will be onsite for post race enjoyment!
