The Lake Cumberland Runners, which was established in 1995, is excited with the opportunity to provide 14 individuals with the opportunity to have a new pair of running shoes. The board of directors is excited about the opportunity to help as many kids as we can.

“We are excited to continue the shoe scholarship to each local school and contribute back to our young runners in the community,” said in a statement from the Lake Cumberland Runners.

Lake Cumberland Runners Inc will be presenting two scholarships (each for $500) to graduating seniors. These scholarships will be awarded to one female and one male who are a part of a local Cross Country or track team.

Who is Eligible?
Eligible applicants must live in the following counties Wayne County, Russell County, McCreary County, & Pulaski County. Any high school in these counties or if you are a Home Schooled student you are eligible to apply. You must be a high school senior!
