micrOTQ Returns on 03/28/27
The micrOTQ marathon is returning to Rockland Lake State Park on March 28, 2027 and registration will open this summer! Fields are small and fill up fast, so to make sure you secure your spot, hit the Subscribe button below. Subscribing to the micrOTQ interest list means you will get a heads up on the date and time we are opening up registration, plus an advance window to register ahead of the rest of the public.

Race day will be here before you know it ...

Race Day Parking
The closest parking will be Parking Lot #5 with over flow parking available in Parking Lot #4. There is no fee for parking or for entry to the park. Participants will be given a map of the parking areas prior to race weekend.
Bathrooms & Gear Check
Bathrooms are located on premises at the park near the parking lots. There will also be porta-potties on the course loop, so if you are jogging a warrm up, you will be able to use those prior to race start as well.
Due to the size of the venue, there will be no gear check for the race. Anything left behind in the staging area at the start will be disposed of. Please leave all valuables in the car!
Bib Pickup
Typically you can plan for bib pickup to be the day before your race, with no bib pickup the morning of. The specific location, date and time are still TBD. Registrants will be notified by email once timeline is finalized.
Finisher's Medal
micrOTQ has a course cutoff time of 3:00:00. Every runner who finishes inside of this time will receive a finisher's medal to celebrate your achievement!
Course Map and Eligibility
Our course is USATF certified and sanctioned.
We are also World Athletics Certified (World Athletics Certification #NY26002JRG).
This certification will allow for the World Championship rankings, Olympic Rankings, and National Record performances to be valid. This is also a Boston Marathon Qualifying event.
Note: This is a professional level event. If your goal time is slower than 2:30:00/2:50:00, please consider registering for the Breaking-3:00 Marathon held on March 27th at the same location.
Entry Standards
1) Must have run a qualifying time in the full or half marathon from 01/01/26 through present day (or until spots fill)

Men: 2:30:00 / 1:12:30

Women 2:50:00 /1:20:00
2) Acceptance to the marathon will be subject to verification of performance inside of the window with a net loss of -3.30m/1000m MAXIMUM. ("Downhill" race performances will not be accepted for entry)

Qualifying times from race distances 10km to the half marathon are subject to race director approval

You will not be allowed to participate in this race if you have ever served a suspension from USADA, WADA, or any other national governing body. There are no exceptions or considerations to this standard.

New moms! We do offer pregnancy exceptions - if you have a time qualifier prior to 01/01/26 but pregnancy prevented you from racing a similar time within the qualifying window, please contact us.
