Bike Walk Golden Isles is a coalition of residents, nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and businesses working to make Glynn County and the surrounding communities safer and friendlier for people who walk, run, bike, and roll. Our work is supported by a combination of grants, memberships, and private contributions like yours. Our memberships range from $10 for students to $40 for families, much less than a set of bike tires or a pair of athletic shoes. All donations over $25 include a free BWGI membership. 

Why are members vital to our success? Simple -- the greater the number, the louder the voice! Think of our group as a cycling peloton: by working together, we can produce a larger influence than a lone citizen can achieve. With a growing number of volunteers, members and resources, we can grow the size and scope of our safety programs, while increasing our work to improve bike- and pedestrian-specific infrastructure of current conditions and future projects.
