Join us to discuss the book "Why We're Catholic" by Trent Horn.  When I found myself seeking the consolation of my faith at the end of my marriage, I realized that not understanding my religion lead me to living apart from God, even though I didn't realize it. I had believed during those years since my confirmation that as long as I was following the ten commandments, I was just fine.  Are we following the 10 commandments if we are not going mass every week?  I was raised to believe we could talk to God anytime, we didn't need to go to church.  It wasn't until I started reading, the Bible and books like this one, that it became clear to me the WHY  behind what we practice as Catholics.  Now I better understand the WHY behind the Catechism of the Catholic Church and how the Church is just following Jesus's teaching as He taught His disciples.  This books covers many of the most difficult questions that are often asked of the Catholic religion.  Maybe your children are asking some questions you don't know how to answer? Or maybe your starting to question a few things yourself?
