The EVM Story
It was a shock to discover there wasn’t a triathlon club in Eugene, Oregon. Looking for training partners, Noah pieced things together—joining swim clubs, showing up to community fun runs, and building his own path in a sport that’s meant to be shared.
At the same time, Lindsay was feeling that same gap. Ready to take the leap, she had already been thinking about starting a triathlon club herself—wanting a space where beginners could feel supported and not out of place. When Noah, Lindsay, and Taylor eventually connected, it became clear they’d all been searching for the same thing.
What started as separate ideas quickly came together into one shared vision: build a community where anyone can show up, learn, and grow in the sport of triathlon.
Triathlon shouldn’t feel intimidating or exclusive. It should feel like a place where you can start at your own level, ask questions, and improve at your own pace—surrounded by people who genuinely want to see you succeed.
This club exists to provide structure, guidance, and a supportive environment where athletes of all backgrounds can train with confidence. Whether you’re brand new or working toward your next race, you’ll have a place here.
No pressure. No expectations to be fast. Just a group of people showing up, learning together, and enjoying the process of getting better.
If you’ve been thinking about trying triathlon, this is your place to start.
