This club is part of the Delightful® Run for Women family. A goal of the event has always been to celebrate and empower women. Knowledge is key to empowerment. This club offers opportunities to network with a health minded community and learn about living a fitter and more fulfilled life.

This first program will run from November 2024 through the end of February 2025. Monthly meetings will be held at Fleet Feet in Albany at 6pm. 155 Wolf Road, Albany NY 12205
Meeting dates are: November 6, December 4, January 8 and February 12th. Meetings will start at 6pm. We will have a social active activity prior to each meeting. Please join us for a walk at 5:30pm on Wednesday, November 6, 2024.

This is 4 month program that focuses on building community, improving our mental and emotional health, and getting stronger through exercise and fueling for the long haul. Each month will have a focus and you’ll earn fun stickers to put on your FitHer water bottle. Our panels will be stacked with expects to help you learn and grow - together. Our November focus will be community. Our panelists will discuss ways they have built community as well as ways you can get involved with a group or create your own community.

December's topic is fueling and injury prevention. What should we eat, when and who should we listen to? We will have physical therapists talking about injury prevention and specifically pelvic floor health. In January we tackle emotional and mental health with experts to provide valuable tools and resources. We wrap up in February with exercise. Should we be hitting the weights, are long slow runs the best, can we go fast, what about mobility? 

You will receive a goal checklist. As you tick off tasks and accomplishments you will earn fun stickers to adorn your new 40oz water bottle!
