Do you want to get moving but don't know where to start? Join our weekly EmPOWERed Walking Group! Meet us once a week throughout the 2025 year to build your endurance and get moving. We'll provide a safe and supportive environment to introduce you to walking for fitness. This program is FREE and open to all - no experience necessary. We'll have two distance options each week to allow for a variety of goals. There will always be a 1 mile option and a 3 mile option to walk. The program is designed to allow you to work at your own pace in a non-threatening, non-judgmental environment while receiving the awesome support of the Fleet Feet Community. We encourage participants to exercise at their own comfortable pace and we will have one to two Mentors with the group each week. The group meets Saturday mornings at 8:30 am. The majority of our meet ups will be at one of our three store locations - Carrboro, Durham - Southpoint, or Durham - Ninth Street.
