NWANA uses this platform as a licensing, credentialing, and affiliation registry for the development of Nordic Walking in North America.

The Nordic Walking Association of North America (NWANA) is a U.S. 501(c)(3) nonprofit public charity and the continental governing and sanctioning body for competitive Nordic Walking in North America. NWANA is building the sport system through education, instructor development, coach and judge training, local community growth, athlete pathways, standards, and responsible governance.

This registry is intended for athletes, instructors, coaches, judges, community leaders, volunteers, NW Groups, clubs, organizations, and other approved participants in the NWANA sport development system. Registration helps NWANA maintain accurate records, assign roles and credentials, support training pathways, organize local and regional development, and prepare the foundation for sanctioned events, official results, rankings, and long-term continental growth.

Registration or licensing through NWANA does not make the organization operate for the private benefit of any individual. Fees, if any, support NWANA’s exempt educational, charitable, and sport-development purposes. Any charitable contribution portion should be treated separately from payments made for specific licenses, credentials, courses, services, or other value received.
