Larry Toole
Larry Toole is the current president of the Stryders. At an early age, he was drawn to endurance sports, first participating in a 100 mile bike race in New York City, his home town, at the age of 13. He has always turned to running and cycling for fitness, health, and socializing. In his late 30s, he contracted neurological Lyme disease and was unable to exercise for 6 years. This experience and subsequent recovery further highlighted to him the importance of maintaining one’s health by prioritizing exercise, nutrition, sleep, and mental health activities, like meditation and mindfulness. Larry has founded and co-founded two healthcare IT companies, including Incentivate Health. He also serves as a consultant to the New York State Department Health where he was the lead Quality Assurance consultant overseeing the implementation of NY’s health insurance exchange. He currently provides data analytics consulting services to New York State’s Medicaid program. He is a past board member of Sustainable Saratoga where he helped the City of Saratoga Springs plan for and implement the 2 MW solar energy project at the Weibel Ave landfill.
