The South Gulf Cove Yacht Club has been recognized as the premier social organization within South Gulf Cove. We organize a wide range of events and activities, some on the water and some on land. Water activities include raft-ups in the Interceptor Lagoon, poker runs, luncheon trips to various restaurants around Charlotte Harbor and beyond, overnight trips to resorts in Southwest Florida, the Florida Keys, and the east coast of Florida, and an annual Lighted Boat Parade in December. Land events include themed dinner dance parties such as Sweetheart Dance, St. Patrick's Day, and Halloween, plus other events such as Lobster & Clam Bake, Tampa Bay Lightning games, Polo, golf tournaments, car shows, and much more.
