The Maryland Gold Star Mothers are mothers whose children died while in military service, or died as a result of that service, or are missing in action.  

Our mission is finding strength in the fellowship of other Gold Star Mothers who strive to keep the memory of our sons and daughters alive by supporting veterans, those currently serving in the military, and their families. Our members volunteer many hours at VA medical centers, and with other veteran service organizations that support our veterans, active-duty service members, and their families. We honor our children’s memories by serving others and healing together.
